The two SEDIs at Enugu and Minna have similar mandates. Therefore, there are products and technologies that are common to both centers. These include:

• Primary Science Kit
• Metal Wares
• Wooden Wares
• Glass Wares

Primary Science Kit

The PSK is composed of 66 basic items required for teaching Primary Science including beakers, thermometers, etc. The kit helps the teacher and pupil to actualize in practical terms the objectives of Primary Science Education. Among other things the PSK enables the Nigeria child to observe and explore their environments, develop basic science process skills, scientific altitude, self confidence and self reliance through problem solving activities.

Metal Wares

The two SEDIs manufacture sets of metal wares required by laboratories. These include test tube rack, spring balance, Bunsen burner, standard weights, weighing balance, etc.

Wooden Wares

Different types of wooden wares are required in laboratories. SEDI-E & M manufacture all types of wooden wares required in laboratories. These include test tube rack, protractor, ruler, manometer, etc.

Glass Wares

All types of glass wares are made at the two SEDIs. These include beakers, burettes, flask, funnels, measuring /graduated cylinder, test tubes, and thermometers.
